American Myths

Most of us grew up being taught that Americans were the good guys, the white hats of the world. Only later have we come to understand that the United States has done an awful lot of underhanded things in history, from stealing America from the Native Americans to having an illegitimate President and Vice-President in the White House seriously planning preemptive nuclear war. This page will document some of this shameful behavior, as examples of what we should never repeat.

• THE MYTH OF PEARL HARBOR You thought the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor was a sneak attack? It was for the people who died, but President Roosevelt knew it was coming, in fact wanted it to come as an excuse to enter the war against Germany.
• THE MYTH OF 9/11 Thousands of educated professionals in engineering, architecture, physics, firefighting, and aviation among others have come forward to say the official conspiracy theory is impossible to reconcile with reality. Complacent and unconcerned Americans coupled with a compliant news media have kept the lid on this issue, even President Obama who is smart enough to know better is silent on the topic, much to America's shame as the real mass murderers remain free and no unmanipulated investigation into 9/11 has yet been done.
